The Centre offers the following:


Information:

On invitation we give information on different substances, the effects of substance abuse and prevention of substance abuse.

Assessment of the abuser:

During our assessment interview, the substance abuse problem will be discussed and different treatment options will be explored. The best treatment option will be discussed with the service user.

These options may include:

Community Development:

We believe that our Country's strength lies in it's people and we therefore focus on development of communities and poverty alleviation.
Volunteers are trained to offer support services in their communities in order to make services more accessible to communities.

Poverty Alleviation:

Volunteers often consist of unemployed people from communities in the Limpopo Province. After basic training the needs of the group members are assessed to establish further training in hand crafts, needle work etc.

Prevention Programmes:

Prevention is better than cure. We have two major Prevention programmes:


Prevention goes hand in hand with education.

Education:

Education is provided to any person in need of training in the field of substance abuse. Training is provided to professionals, companies and any other people interested in training workshops.
